IT Technician

OVERVIEW

Our company is seeking an experienced and skilled IT technician to join our team. As an IT technician, you will be working closely with other members of our IT team to provide high-quality support and solve any technical issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to our employees and clients

• Configuring and maintaining computer hardware and software

• Managing and maintaining troubleshooting issues with computers, networks, printers, scanners, etc.

• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, including hardware, software, and network problems

• Installing and configuring printers, scanners, and other peripherals

• Creating and maintaining documentation of hardware and software installations

• Some cabling experience is a plus

• Setting up workstations, users, transferring data, etc.

Requirements

• Experience in IT support, networking, and hardware maintenance

• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and other common software applications

• Knowledge of network architecture and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems independently

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Experience with server administration, cloud computing, and cybersecurity is a plus
